Get your taste buds ready and see what deliciousness the Pittsburgh's Northside has to offer during the Annual Northside Sandwich Sampler! Various Northside restaurants, pubs, and bars prepare mouth-watering sandwich samples for you to relish. While you relish, you will reflect on what your favorite sandwich is and vote for the Northside Sandwich Queen/King!

We will be joined by celebrity judges Elias Khouri (Elias Khouri Band), Suzanne Lawrence (Pittsburgh comedian), and Olga Watkins (Olga Watkins Band).

There will be live music provided by the Red Beans & Rice Combo, a trio serving a savory mix of New Orleans R&B, rock & roll nuggets, barroom ballads, and a jazzy dash of Tin Pan Alley, with a generous side of wit & humor.

There will also be a Penn Brewery beer garden!

The Northside Sandwich Sampler is the official kick-off event to the Northside Sandwich Week, which runs from May 9–19.

All proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will benefit Work, a nonprofit organization that accompanies families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified jobs. Their work focuses in one community in Haiti called Menelas, a sister neighborhood to the North Side. Learn more about their model at www.dowork.org.
