Tom Roberts with Ed Croft on bass

  • The Park House 403 East Ohio Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15212 United States (map)

Check out the newest project!

A couple of weeks ago, I got a phone call from this twenty-something dude who had just sat in with my old band in New York, Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks. Vince told him to call me and, man oh man, am I glad he did! Finally! A bass player that grooves!

Ed is from Fredonia, New York and has the knowledge and ability to perform in so many styles it would be tiresome to list them here. If you have gone to the bluegrass nights at The Park House you have heard Ed playing with the Shelf Life String Band.

You may wonder, why no drum in this new combo? The answer? We swing so hard that a drummer would be redundant!
