From City of Asylum:
The annual reading by Cave Canem Poets at City of Asylum has been a favorite event for Pittsburgh’s literary community since 2010. Cave Canem is a home for the many voices of African American poetry and is committed to cultivating the artistic and professional growth of African American poets.
This year’s featured poets include Toi Dericotte, Cornelius Eady, Amber Flora Thomas and Willie Perdomo.
The reading will be held in the Alphabet City™ Tent at 318 Sampsonia Way, next to Jazz House. A book signing with the poets will follow the reading.
